Good service, good food,

Chicken doesn't even taste like chicken . Customer service sucks. I ask for well done when I order every time . AND the employees response is "its always well done " no its not or I wouldn't have under cooked vegetables. I wouldn't even let my dog eat there food .

This place may just not be for me. I ordered a crispy chicken rice box and found the food bland and overpriced. However the service was great and the food was fresh!

Yucky the food isint cooked and people have gotten food poisoning and smells horrendous

For some reason I had a one star review, which was incorrect. Perhaps a pocket-review, unintentional. I have eaten there now and again and food and service are good. It is a little pricey. The menu is a little confusing to me. I do like that the food is fresh and hot.

When WokBox first came to Red Deer, the experience was awesome. They had loads of selection, the service was great, the atmosphere was very hip and cool. There was something very cool about watching them cook the food too. Since then though... service isnt so good anymore, menu selection is a fraction of what it once was, and the portions have gotten smaller while the prices have gone up. If they can smarten up and turn this thing around, I'd love to try it again.

Chain. Customer service can be improved upon but decent stop for lunch

Good healthy place to eat. Always good quality for reasonable price. Very fresh.

Delicious. Best for butter chicken and nan bread. They have good portions too no need to go sumo.

Visit from few months ago. Was a somewhat regular customer as was usually ok. Last visit orderred a takeout order and had picked it up. First indication when paying for order, somehow they overcharged compared to menu. When we mentioned the inaccuracy, we were told it's gst. Chalk up to millennial math challenges, eventually they found the error. Took bagged take out to where having family gathering just out of town at a campsite. Order was completely in accurate, wrong dishes from what I had orderred. Called store and was told they dont make mistakes, bring it back and we can reheat it and or put different or more sauce on it. Poorly handled customer service.

Fast and efficient, however pricey.

The chicken was dark brown and over done, as was the rice balls. It's either over cooked or the oil needs to be changed badly. The butter chicken was really good though.

I love the food here and the staff are very nice.

Nice healthy options for lunch or a quick dinner. Lots of favorites like Kung Poa or Pad thia.

2017 update to previous review:After experiencing poor service here three years ago (previous review), I decided to try this Wok Box again.I believe this location has had a management change, apparently for the better. Recent visits here have included both great fresh food, and much improved service. Can now recommend!

Good food and great service

I love Wok Box. Always great eating fresh Chinese food. I really do wish they would put more than 5 dumplings on a plate though lol. My son and I had a great meal here. He decided to eat the entire meal with his chop sticks which proved interesting with his slippery noodles bit was entertaining. I love how clean the place is and how up to date the decore is compared to a lot of similar Chinese food places are. We left stuffed to the max. Will definitely be back

Awesome food

Disappointing service. Showed up 20 minutes to close wanting to take some food to go. Door was locked, open sign was off and employees are standing inside staring at me. I called and asked if they are open and the employees response was “I guess you can come in”. Needless to say I didn’t and took my business elsewhere. Bad service and I don’t think I’ll return.

I haven't liked Wok Box in a long time, but I gave them another chance, and was pleased. The Dan Dan is as hot as I remember, and it was delicious. They were really good at letting me make a customization, and it was very enjoyable. The only downside was the price, they are more expensive than I remember, only slightly higher that I would like. All that being said, I will return.

Great food, good service

Normally I don't give alot of reviews but I have to give a warning. The service was slow, stood at the front counter for a long time before a lady finally took our order. Then she didn't seem to listen to any of the words I said about my order. OK fine. But then the time to get our meal was almost 25 minutes for a quick style restaurant this is not acceptable. I can get quicker service and food at a real restaurant. The noodles were unfortunately not tasty that day and highly disappointed overall.

Excellent food and friendly staff. I find the pricing a little high, but they do offer a lower price for lunch. The restaurant is usually packed full with people during lunch hour. I usually take out. I discovered a trick to avoiding the long lineup in the restuarant. by calling your order in beforehand, you then only have to wait in line to pay.

Not the best, the veggies were very burnt and the staff were not very friendly

My entire meal smelt and tasted terribly of fish or shrip and i didnt order any seafood in my MONGOLIAN BEEF & BROCCOLI. Not impressed. Pretty disgusting if you ask me.

Awesome, clean, friendly. Probably the better Wok Box in Red Deer. The food is well prepared and presentation is also on point. We will be going back to this one for sure.

Full disclosure i had my lunch bought for me for my birthday so there was no way it could get a bad review. It was delicious though.

Good quality fast service

Still overpriced but now also lacks any sort of flavour. It was actually incredibly surprising. I had the ginger beef, I think they forgot the ginger. I’m just more shocked than anything how downhill they’ve gone.
